The Community House, at 2173 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel, will present the following:

AEROBICS

Aerobics will be held on Sept. 21 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with instructor Mahnaz Bassiri. Bring your own weights (optional). Cost is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.

CHAIR STRETCHING

Chair Stretching will be held on Sept. 22 from 1 to 2 p.m. Cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.

SANIBEL HEARTS CLUB

The Sanibel Hearts Club will meet on Sept. 23 from 1 to 3 p.m. Play the game of Hearts; beginners to experts welcome. Cost is $5.

COMMUNITY SOCIAL

A Community Social will take place on Sept. 23 at 6 p.m., with a “Meals-to-Go” option available for pickup from 5 to 6 p.m. Cost is $25 for members and $30 for non-members; dessert is an extra $5. Register in advance at www.sanibelcommunityhouse.net or call 239-472-2155.

SHELL CRAFTERS

The Shell Crafters will have open tables on Sept. 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. A free class will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon; supplies start at $5. Open to children ages 6 and older with an adult.

MEMORY CAFE

Memory Cafe will take place on Sept. 27 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Individuals with memory impairment and their loved ones can join the Dubin Center and Interfaith Outreach of SanCap for activities. Refreshments will be served. Free to attend, but advance reservations are requested at 239-437-3007 or riley@dubincenter.com.

WINE TASTING CLASS

A Wine Tasting Class with Pacific Northwest Wines will be held on Sept. 27 at 6 p.m., with food pairing by TCH Executive Chef John Wolff. Cost is $50 for members and $55 for non-members.

TCH is accepting artist applications for its next Arts and Crafts Fair, scheduled for Oct. 23. The cost is $75 for a table. Spots are filling up quickly. To apply, contact marketing@sanibelcommunityhouse.

TCH is seeking guest speakers for its Community Social series who are knowledgeable about: local produce or food, cultural cuisine like Thai or German food, interesting DIY like gardening or composting, and travel food stories. It is also seeking women leaders and change-makers for a Women Speaker Series. For details, contact office@sanibelcommunityhouse.net.

TCH and Executive Chef John Wolff are looking for donations of locally grown mangos. The fruit will be used in several ways, including for youth cooking classes and to make chutneys and salsas that are sold to raise scholarship funds for the Culinary Education Center of Sanibel. If you have a mango or fruit tree and are willing to share its bounty, even if you are not in town, contact 239-472-2155 or office@sanibelcommunityhouse.net. TCH is also looking for volunteers to collect/pick up fruit.

There are “Shell Critter Kits to Go” available for $5 each; add an extra $10 for shipping. Choose from 13 critters to assemble. Also, there is an “Art Kit to Go” available for $20. Eight different postcards to color and zentangle; sharpie and educational video link included. In addition, there are “Shell Necklace Kits” available for $20; add an extra $10 for shipping. All materials and instructions included.
